LITTLE ROCK (December 22, 2012) Saturday night's Powerball drawing favored an unidentified Randolph County player who purchased a ticket with the right numbers at Jordans Kwik Stop in Pocahontas.

The winning player's identity will not be known until the ticket is cashed.   From Pocahontas, the closest Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claim Center is in Jonesboro.

A $10,000 Powerball Prize is hit when the player correctly chooses four of the five white ball numbers, between 1 and 59, as well as the red Powerball number, between 1 and 35.  If the player had also purchased the $1 PowerPlay option, the prize would have grown to $40,000.  All players who purchased Powerball tickets at the Pocahontas Kwik Stop location at 1908 Highway 67 South will want to check their numbers against the winning numbers to see if their ticket is the lucky one.

The next chance to win Powerball  is Wednesday, with the top prize set at $50 Million.  Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday has grown to $18 Million.
