UNION COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - An 18-year-old was killed an accident around 1:00 a.m. Christmas Eve in Union County. Four other teens were injured.
According to an Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary, Gage Shoffner of Smackover was killed in the one-car accident.
The ASP summary read that the teens were traveling east on the Southfield Road cutoff when the vehicle, driven by a 16-year-old, overturned. Shoffner was pronounced dead on scene and the others were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Their conditions are unknown.
