LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Entergy Arkansas is holding a press conference at 1 p.m. Friday. This is to discuss the mass power outages that are affecting tens of thousands of people in Central Arkansas.
The snow and ice storm that hit the area on Christmas Day affected 194,233 customers at its peak. As of 11:30 a.m. Friday, that number was down to 108,488.
Crews from 15 states have come to Arkansas to help restore power. Officials will give a status update on this effort and also address questions about the power restoration.
The press conference will be at Entergy Arkansas, located at 9th and Louisiana St in Little Rock. THV 11 will attend provide an update on what is discussed at the event.
