LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - One of the most common New Year's Resolutions each year is to get active and exercise more.
In order to help kick-start that plan, Arkansas State Parks are offering a way to start that resolution on day one. They are offering "First Day Hikes" for folks interested. These are free, guided tours around the various parks.
Richard Spilman, from Pinnacle Mountain State Park, discussed what is involved in the event on THV 11 This Morning. To learn more about the activity, watch the THVideo above.
Pinnacle's First Day Hike starts at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the West Summit Trailhead. The Kingfisher Trail Wetland Wonders Hike runs from 2 - 3 p.m.
