WARD, Ark. (KTHV) - Lonoke County deputies arrested a 37-year-old man and charged him with raping a minor.
Lt. Jim Kulesa with the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office said his office received a report about 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31 concerning the sexual assault of an 11-year-old female. A deputy and an investigator responded, which led to a search warrant being obtained and executed for a home on Black Oak Circle in Ward.
After investigation, Juan Jose Martinez was arrested for rape. He is being held at the Lonoke County Detention Facility without bond.
