LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas lottery officials say a De Queen woman has won $2 million off a $3 Powerball ticket.
Lottery officials presented a check Monday to Sherry Miller. Officials say Miller correctly picked all five numbers in the Powerball in last week's drawing and won the $2 million Powerball prize.
Lottery officials say Miller bought her winning ticket at B&B Junction in Lockesburg.
Officials say Miller took home $1.6 million after state taxes of $140,000 and federal taxes of $250,000 were deducted.
Miller says she wants to use the money to purchase a home for her family and grandchildren.
