UNDATED (CNN) -- Advertisers are paying top dollar for Super Bowl commercials this year. The price of a 30-second spot has hit a record high of at least $4 million.
A spokesman for CBS, which is broadcasting the big game at the Superdome in New Orleans, says in some cases, advertisers will pay more than that.
This year's price tag beats last year's record, when NBC Sports charged an average of $3.5 million.
Pepsico, Audi, GoDaddy, Hyundai and Skechers say they've bought time during this year's game, which is on February 3rd.
