LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Recycling pickup has been delayed in many areas due to last week's debilitating snow storm.
Waste Management continues catching up on curbside recycling pick-ups after the storm. Residents are asked to leave their recycling containers on the curb until crews are able to pick them up.
Waste Management crews are to pick up overflow materials that are set beside the cart, as well. The City of Little Rock encourages residents to call 311 if their yard debris needs to be picked up or request removal by going to www.LittleRock.org and click on the 3-1-1 logo on the upper right side of the home page.
These trees, limbs and bushes will be taken to the Little Rock Landfill and eventually be made into mulch.
The Little Rock Landfill, located at 10801 Ironton Cutoff, is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. 4 p.m.
It wil also be open this Saturday, Jan. 5, from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Garbage, yard waste, and construction and demolition debris, may be taken to the landfill for a fee.
The Landfill Scale House may be contacted at (501) 888-5806 for information and disposal fees.
