JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) - There are soon to be four new police officers patrolling the streets of Jacksonville. On Friday, four officers took their oath to serve the community.
Those who received their badges include Ryan Childers, Joseph Edwards, Bobby Forrest Jr., and Christina Goss.
Goss, who has worked in law enforcement for 10 years, said becoming a police officer is something she's looked forward to for quite some time.
"I believe in serving and protecting the community," Goss said. "And I just enjoy it."
After graduation, the four will attend a 13-week training course before hitting the streets.
