LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Officials say Little Rock residents can still report debris left over from a powerful Christmas Day storm that toppled trees and dumped more than 10 inches of snow on the city.
City spokeswoman Meg Matthews said in a statement that residents can call 311 or visit the city's website to report storm damage debris.
Many fallen trees and branches remain on the ground and Matthews says solid waste crews are working hard to collect as much as possible.
Matthews says those trees, limbs and bushes will be brought to the Little Rock landfill and eventually be made into mulch.
The winter storm that barged into the state on Christmas also left more than a quarter-million Arkansas homes and businesses without power for part of a week.
