LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) Debris clean-up from the winter storm continues this weekend and made it a busy week for Grant Wallace.
"We probably ended up with about 11 inches of snow out here," said Wallace.
That snow left a lot of work for this Little Rock family.
"We had quite a few limbs down," said Wallace.
Three large piles sat in Wallace's front yard. The debris is among the 700 tons the city is hauling away. Recycling and garbage pick-up start back its normal routine on Monday. That's a service the Wallace's will need after going six days without electricity.
"We did stay here. We have a fireplace so we had heat and all of that," said Wallace.
Their lights are back on and that means Wallace is back to work.
"We're glad to have it so we can get this heat back on and start cleaning up again," said Wallace.
If you too are working on cleaning up your yard and you live within the city limits, you can gather all your debris and push it to the curb. Once it's there just call 311, and you can request the city to come pick it up.
