LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- New Year Resolutions that often get ignored are your finances. So, on this Consumer Tuesday, we're here to help with set you on the right footing for 2013.
Financial Planner Barry Corkern stopped by "THV 11 News This Morning" to explain.
Divide your annual financial tasks by month. For example:
• Review your life insurance in your birthday month.
• Take a look at your will and/or power of attorney in your anniversary month.
• The month before your car tags are due, review your car insurance.
If you don't use a computer for personal finances, use a three-ring binder with tabs to hold document copies.
If you use a computer, store scanned and electronic documents in Drop Box or Google Docs.
