JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Police in Jonesboro say four dollar stores have been robbed at gunpoint since early December.
The latest robbery was Saturday night at a Dollar General store in downtown Jonesboro that was also robbed New Year's Eve. The robber on Saturday also fired twice into the air as he left the store - but no one was injured.
Police say another Dollar General was also robbed twice at gunpoint in early and mid-December.
Police say the description of the robber in the three previous holdups is similar and that a similarly described man also robbed a Jonesboro convenience store last week.
