UNDATED (CNN) -- Swatch has decided its time for a change. The Swiss watchmaking giant has agreed to buy luxury label Harry Winston.

Swatch will pay up to one billion dollars for the Harry Winston brand and its jewelry and watch business.

The deal also includes assuming as much as $250 million in debt.

The Harry Winston Diamond Corporation will be renamed Dominion Diamond Corporation after the takeover
