CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Former UCA President Allen Meadors pleaded guilty to a criminal violation of the Freedom of Information Act.
The plea was made through Meadors' attorney. The former president was initially charged with one county of solicitation of tampering with a public record.
Meadors reportedly asked a UCA employee to get rid of a letter from food vendor Aramark that stated the company would give the school a $700,000 donation if their contract was renewed another seven years.
According to Faulkner County Prosecutor Cody Hiland, Meadors faces a $250 fine and probation.
Meadors now reportedly resides in North Carolina.
