HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. (CNN/KTHV) - Songwriter and producer, David Wilson, died Sunday night. He was the partner of country singer Mindy McCready and the father of one of her children.
Details of his death are not known at this time, however a worker at the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office confirmed its agency is working the case. McCready has a home in Heber Springs.
According to E! online, McCready released the following statement on Monday regarding Wilson's death:
"Today, we mourn the loss of my life partner and my children's father, David Wilson," McCready said in a statement. "David was my soulmate; he was a caregiver and guiding hand to our sons, Zander and Zayne.He was a precious gift from God to all of us and, yesterday, he returned home and is now with his mother and father. David loved and he was loved. Those who knew and loved him will miss him; those who did not know David missed the opportunity to know a truly loving and gifted man."
Wilson was 34 years old. More details about this case will be released as they become available.
