UNDATED (CNN) -- Holy dollar signs, "Batman!"
The original "Batmobile" used in the 1960's TV series sold at an Arizona auction Saturday for $4.6 million.
This is video of the car's creator, legendary car customizer George Barris, who designed it by modifying a 1955 Lincoln concept car.
Rick Champagne, owner of a Tempe-based logistics company, is the lucky buyer.
He told "Speed TV" he plans to keep the "Batmobile" in his living room.
On the TV show, the car shot flames, squirted oil and slashed tires, but the car is not actually designed to do any of that.
