BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - Benton police are investigating the fatal accident between a pedestrian and a vehicle.

Saturday night around 9:30, the Benton Police Dept. got a call to I-30 South Service Road near the 114 mile marker about the accident.

When they got there, they found Willie Donson, 41, dead from injuries he got after begin struck by a car. Police say the driver hit Donson as he was walking eastbound on the service road. Donson was wearing dark clothing.

The Benton Police Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the accident to determine a cause, and no arrests have been made at this time.
