LAKE CITY, Ark. (AP) - Authorities have identified the man and woman injured in a weekend shooting in Lake City.
Craighead County investigators say 32-year-old Richard Williford of Paragould and 34-year-old Christy Ritchie of Lake City remain hospitalized, with Williford in critical condition. Officials say Richie was in stable but serious condition.
The Jonesboro Sun reports Williford was shot once in the head and Richie was shot multiple times.
County Assistant Chief Deputy Justin Rolland says the shooting appears to be the result of a domestic disturbance involving the two victims.
The investigation is continuing.
