    LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A Cabot man has been taken into police custody after Lonoke County Sheriff John Staley received a tip on his whereabouts.

    According to Lt. James Kulesa, 30-year-old Chon Elex Armstrong was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant from the Arkansas Department of Corrections and fleeing Jan. 23.

    Kulesa said investigators first met up with Armstrong at a home on Stagecoach Road, but he fled the scene. They were able to later find and arrest him at a home on Jacob Lane in Cabot.

    Throughout their hunt for Armstrong, based on the tip to the sheriff, officers were able to locate the following stolen vehicles and items at several different locations, said Kulesa: a 2008 Honda Rancher 4-wheeler, a 2011 Honda Rancher 4-wheeler, a 2004 Chevy Avalanche, a 1998 Yamaha Big Bear 4-wheeler, a Wicked Ridge crossbow, a 2000 Honda Recon 4-wheeler, a Diamond Archery compound bow, a stolen 1997 Toyota Camry, a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage, and an older model ski-boat.

    Sheriff John Staley said his deputies are in the process of evaluating all the information and evidence involved in this investigation and more arrests are pending.

    He added that everyone involved in these thefts will be identified and arrested.
