LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Book Readers and inspiring authors got a preview Thursday for the 10th Annual Arkansas Literary Festival.

The festival will feature more than 80 presenters including several award winning authors. Richard Ford, Sylvia Day, Ben Fountain and Karen Russell are just a few who will be on hand.

Along with several meet and greet opportunities will be special events for families, kids and teens.

"Many times people at the literary festival have never had the opportunity to meet an author that is published. Maybe they have a dream to be an author one day," said Susan Gele with the Central Arkansas Library System.

The festival begins Thursday April 18, and most of the events are free. The festival is a project of the Central Arkansas Library System.
