CABOT, Ark. (KTHV) - A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Kerr Station Road in Cabot, according to officials.
It happened Saturday night around 10:15 p.m. Sgt. Keith Graham with the Cabot Police Department says the driver was heading south on Kerr Station, just south of Candlewood Circle, when the vehicle struck a woman who was walking.
The victim is identified as Jaime Hicks, 37, of Lonoke. She was taken to a Jacksonville hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver is reportedly a 16-year-old from Cabot.
The accident is still under investigation.
