From the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department:
LITTLE ROCK (1-29) -- Crews will install an overhead sign on Highway 70 in Hot Springs Thursday night into Friday morning, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The overhead sign will span the eastbound lanes of Highway 70 (Martin Luther King Expressway) just prior to the Spring Street and Highway 70B (East Grand Avenue) overpasses. Spring Street and Highway 70B will not be affected.
The project will begin Thursday, January 31st at 11:00 p.m. It will be complete by Friday, February 1st at 5:00 a.m., weather permitting. Traffic in the eastbound lanes of the Highway 70 (Martin Luther King Expressway) may be stopped for short intervals up to ten minutes.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
