FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Clayton Monsees has pleaded guilty to First Degree Murder.
According to Faulkner County Prosecuting Attorney Cody Highland, Monsees made the plea Wednesday after the shooting death of Billy Joe Ewing on March 20, 2012.
Highland said Monsees was sentenced to 55 years in prison and agreed to testify against his co-defendant, Amanda Ewing, who will be in court for a pre -trial hearing in February.
Highland added that Monsees apologized to the family.
Monsees is suffering from a serious medical condition that has left him severely emaciated.
