NOAA confirms 2 tornadoes following Tuesday storm

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) storm survey team has confirmed that two tornadoes touched down during Tuesday night's storms.

The National Weather Service said a small EF-0 tornado was confirmed near Monticello, and an EF-2 tornado was confirmed near Natural Dam in Crawford County.

According to the NOAA, a spotter had reported a tornado in the Natural Dam area on the night of the storms. They said debris was in the air and the emergency manager reported trees down.

Trees were also down in several areas of Monticello.

NOAA issued several tornado warnings for the counties in southeast Arkansas Tuesday night.
