FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) - Fort Smith police say the death of a woman found in her home has been ruled a homicide.
Sgt. Daniel Grubbs says the state medical examiner's office on Friday notified police that 50-year-old Sakounsouk Vilayhong was strangled and that her Jan. 24 death is a homicide.
Police say the woman had spent most of the day at a casino in nearby Pocola, Okla., and was found dead in her home by her husband when he returned home from work.
Grubbs says police have no suspects in the case.
