Little Rock Walgreens employees held up at gunpoint

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - An armed man reportedly held up employees at a Walgreens drug store early Saturday morning.

    According to a Little Rock Police Dept. incident report, three workers were at the 3901 W. Markham St. location about 6:30 a.m. when a man wearing all black clothing and white gloves approached them holding a handgun. A woman said she was unloading a truck near the warehouse door when the suspect went near the truck and forced the three workers into the store office and made one of them open the safe. One victim called police from the women's bathroom while another quickly called police from the office - where they were each being forced to stay on the ground.

    The suspect took about $4,000 from the safe and left the store. Police are reviewing surveillance camera from the store. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Little Rock Police Dept. at (501) 371-4621.
