UNDATED (CNN) -- Tuesday would have been Trayvon Martin's 18th birthday.
The unarmed Florida teen was shot and killed nearly a year ago.
The Orlando Sentinel reports his family will hold a prayer service and sing "Happy Birthday" outside the Seminole County Courthouse.
Inside, lawyers for the man who pulled the trigger - George Zimmerman - are due in court.
They are requesting his June trial be pushed back and they want additional records in the case handed over.
Zimmerman faces second-degree murder charges.
He claims he shot Martin in self-defense after the teen attacked him.
