LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A Pine Bluff Police Officer was arrested for theft Thursday.
According to Lt. James Kulesa with Lonoke County Sheriff's Office, Cody Wayne Cummings, 24, of Ward was arrested around 12:15 p.m. at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in Camden and charged with Residential burglary, Theft of property (felony) and Theft of property (misdemeanor).
Kulesa said the arrest stemmed from a theft report at a home in Ward, and an investigation uncovered similar thefts at a home in Cabot and another on Highway 38.
Cummings is being held at the Lonoke County Detention Facility in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
