LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas Republican U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin has announced his appointment to two U.S. House subcommittees. 

Griffin said Friday that he's been named to the Human Resources and to the Social Security subcommittees of the House Ways and Means Committee. 

Griffin was re-elected to a second term from Arkansas' 2nd Congressional District in November.
