UNDATED (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting rampage in Orange County, California. At least three people are dead.
Police say the shooting spree started before dawn in the city of Tustin in Southern California. Officers responded to a call of a carjacking involving a black SUV. A bystander was shot.
A short time later there was a second carjacking near the 55 freeway, this time the suspect killed the victim.
The killing spree continued in a third location; police discovered two victims from a third carjacking. One was shot to death, the other was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police spotted the suspect in the stolen vehicle and followed him to the city of Orange. When they tried to stop him, he shot and killed himself. No word yet on a motive for the shootings.
Police say there may be more victims.
