UNDATED (KTHV) -- Every Friday, THV 11 highlights five fun things to do in Arkansas over the weekend.
#1. LANTERNS! -- Arkansas' only deep-winter outdoor festival, is returning to Little Rock for a fifth year of family fun and illuminating entertainment. Wildwood Park for the Arts will light up this Friday and Saturday from 6-10 p.m. and Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 - 12 and free for kids 5 & under. Wildwood is located at 20919 Denny Road.
#2. Bowl for Kids' Sake -- Bowl a strike and make an impact. For 40 years Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Arkansas has been making a difference by mentoring kids and changing lives. Saturday at 1:00 p.m. you can join the mission at Bowl for Kids' Sake at Professor Bowl in Little Rock. The goal is to raise $75,000 for their fundraising efforts.
#3. Home Show -- The Home Builders Association of Greater Little Rock hosts this popular event, which features resources for those looking to buy a home, renovate or get ideas for fun design projects. It starts Friday and runs through Sunday. Tickets are eight dollars. Kids under 12 get in free.
#4. Daffodil Days -- You can enjoy more than 250-thousand daffodils in various shades of yellow when these blooms make their annual appearance in the Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs. They're open daily 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event runs through February 28th.
#5. Flower and Garden Show -- The annual Arkansas Flower and Garden Show is the premier horticultural event in the state with 12,000 visitors. This year's event is themed "Homegrown Goodness." The show is at the Statehouse Convention Center Feb. 22-24. Tickets are $8 for adults or you can purchase a 3-day pass for $12. Kids 16 and under get in free.
