LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Small businesses in Arkansas could be on the chopping block because of the potential 5 percent sequestration cuts.
Linda Nelson with the Small Business administration said those changes would definitely impact the 240,000 small businesses in Arkansas.
"The direct impact from our cuts within our agency will be access to capital. There will be cuts in the programs that provide long-term, low-cost loans to small businesses," she explained.
Another big problem Nelson proposed is that businesses will just have less money to work with, and for many that could be a huge problem.
