BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) - Three men are under arrest, all charged with the aggravated robbery of Bryant gas station.
Bryant police were called to the I-30 Super Stop on the North Service Road about an armed robbery. The vehicle description was given out, and another Bryant officer notified dispatch that he was behind that car on the South Service Road.
Spike strips were set up at the county line in order to get the car stopped. As the Bryant officer, along with State Police, tried to get the car to stop, the car drove over the spike strip, flattening the tires.
When the car stopped, the passenger jumped out and started running. Police caught up with him and put him in custody. Two other suspects were taken into custody in the vehicle.
The three men are Mike Waller, 45, Tony Smith, 28, and Justin Pettis, 23.
Police say Waller and Smith are charged with two counts of aggravated robbery in Bryant. One count for the Super Stop robbery and another for a Subway robbery Feb. 4.
Pettis is charged with one count of aggravated robbery.
All three are in the Saline County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
