SASKATOON, Saskatchewan (CNN) -- There are icicles, and then there are Canadian icicles!
Look at the size of this frozen feature seen in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; it's three stories tall!
The columns of ice formed on the side of an apartment building where it seems someone wasn't paying enough attention to snow melting off the roof.
It even gained a few fans online when someone created a "Giant Icicle" Twitter account.
But the local fire department didn't want it around.
Crews removed the ice over the weekend because it posed a safety hazard to pedestrians and a neighboring building.
