PRAGUE, Czech Republic (CBS) -- The Prague Municipal Court acquitted Randy Blythe, lead singer of U.S. metal band Lamb of God, of charges over the death of a fan. It was said that Blythe did not injure him intentionally. The public prosecutor can appeal it.
Blythe had been accused of the death of 19-year old Daniel during a concert in Prague in 2010. According to prosecution, Blythe had pushed him off band's stage. Daniel fell down and sustained a severe head injury. He died 14 days later.
The popular singer was facing 5 to 10 years in prison. The prosecution asked for 5 years and financial compensation for the victim's family.
