An Indianapolis teenager made news recently when he walked 10 miles for a job interview. That has since prompted an outpouring of support from the community.
Before meeting his new landlord, Jhaqueil Reagan was homeless and living with friends. He also didn't have a phone, but now he's taking phone calls from the Chicago Bulls Organization, which contacted him after seeing their new famous fan on TV.
Since Jhaqueil has gotten the job at Papa Roux, the restaurant has had to hire 5 more employees just to keep up with new flow of customers, and it gets better. Stolen Sailboat Runs Aground In Pacifica Surf; 3 Arrested
A live rescue of three people stuck on an 82 foot luxury yacht actually turned into a crime scene.
The yacht got stuck on Linda Mar Beach early Monday. Quickly, aerials of the rescue started appearing on local television. Local surfers tried helping those on board off of the boat, but the passengers refused. That's when it took a weird turn.
Police said the owner called them to report it stolen after seeing news coverage on TV. Two men and a woman eventually surrendered and were brought to shore and arrested.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, a salvage company is working with officials on a plan to remove the boat from the ocean.
Food FYI: Joe Flacco signs $120-million deal, goes to McDonald's
After winning the Super Bowl, Baltimore Ravens Joe Flacco celebrated by going to Disney World.
After getting NFL's highest paying contract at 6 years for $120 million, Joe Flacco celebrated by spending a whopping $6.99 at a fast food restaurant. Two hours after signing his deal, the quarterback celebrated by ordering chicken nuggets at McDonald's. He even stopped for a photo in the drive-thru window.
Now we did the math. With Flacco's new deal, he would be able to eat the same meal three times a day for the 15,600 years. That's a lot of chicken nuggets.
