LONDON (UK) -- Justin Bieber is recovering after fainting backstage at a concert last night.
Justin Bieber was performing at a concert in London when everything went wrong. One person says, "He did go on stage for a bit and laid on top of the stairs and he was like, 'I can't breathe. I can't breathe.'"
Bieber was helped off the stage where his spokesperson says doctors gave him oxygen. Fans waited nervously in the O2 arena to find out what happened. One person says, "He came out and his manager was like, 'Oh, Justin is not very well.' And we're like, 'What?'"
After nearly 30 minutes backstage, Bieber came out to adoring, and supportive fans. One fan says, "He came back on stage. He did a good performance in the end."
Bieber finished the show and was then taken to the hospital to be checked out. He posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: "getting better listening to Janis Joplin."
This caps a tough trip to the British capitol for the pop star. Earlier this week he angered fans who claimed he was two hours late taking the stage. Bieber tweeted an apology saying, "I was 40 min late to stage. There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset."
Bieber's Friday night show is still scheduled as of this morning.
