LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Crews continue to analyze and repair damage associated with Thursday's tractor-trailer accident at the Young Road overpass on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

AHTD personnel are installing hydraulic jacks to stabilize the bridge for future traffic use on the overpass. However, it's still unclear when the overpass will be re-opened.

Traffic is running normally along Interstate 40. However, a barrier wall has been installed along the shoulder of the westbound lane in the vicinity of the bridge.

Thursday afternoon, an 18-wheeler crashed near the bridge and caught on fire. The driver died as a result of his injuries.

THV's Dustin Wilson is following up on the accident and will have the latest updates on "THV 11 News at 6:00".
