MAUMELLE, Ark. (KTHV) - The girls basketball coach at Maumelle High School is under arrest.
Arkansas State Police says Lauren Buckner, 46, of Jacksonville was arrested March 4. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, DWI, and carless and prohibited driving.
ASP says the arrest came after she got into a single car accident at the eight mile marker on U.S. Highway 67 north.
Deb Roush with the Pulaski County Special School District says Buckner is suspended without pay from the school.
In August of 2012, the assistant girls basketball coach Brittany Burns was arrested for drugs after leaving campus.
