CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - Sunday was College Goal Sunday, a day where students could learn about and apply for financial aid.
UCA was one of 30 locations in Arkansas hosting College Goal Sunday.
It's all about helping students fill out those financial aid forms -- taking the first steps in applying for state and federal grants and loans to help pay for college.
The form is known as FAFSA, or Free Application for Student Aid.
There is still time to take part and fill out those forms online. For more information about paying for college, visit ADHE.edu, SayGoCollege.com or ArCollegeGoalSunday.org.
It is still uncertain what effects the national sequestration will have on student aid. Students applying for this fall aren't expected to see an impact on federal aid due to budget cuts.
