GUM SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say two people were killed and two were injured in a head-on collision on Interstate 30.
State police say the crash happened Sunday afternoon near the 68 mile marker in Clark County. According to a preliminary report, 21-year-old Tyler Carter lost control of his car and crashed into oncoming traffic.
Carter was killed in the crash, along with a passenger, 19-year-old Donovan Fernandez. Both men were from Hot Springs.
A second passenger was injured in the crash, along with the driver of the second car.
State police say it was raining and the roads were wet at the time of the crash.
