LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Jury deliberations will continue Friday for the trial of a man accused in the shooting death of a Harvest Foods employee.
Fifteen years ago Harvest Food Assistant Manager Kevin Bearden was killed. Cedrick Simpson was arrested two years ago and charged with capital murder in the 1997 robbery turned shooting death of Bearden.
Jury selection got underway Tuesday morning, and prosecutors are seeking life in prison. They said they expect the trial to last about three days.
