VATICAN CITY (CBS) -- A bird, thought to be a seagull, hangs out on the Sistine Chapel chimney on Wednesday as crowds of onlookers in Saint Peter's Square wait for smoke, signaling the election of a new Pope.

He's become quite an Internet sensation in his own right with his own Twitter account @SistineSeagull.
