LONOKE, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says one lane of Interstate 40 in Lonoke County will be closed intermittently for work on an overpass. 

The department says maintenance work will be performed on the Kerr Road overpass west of Lonoke in Lonoke County on Wednesday and Thursday. 

An AHTD spokesman says the eastbound inside lane of I-40 will be closed between mile markers 163 and 165 both days between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
