WICHITA, Kansas (KWCH, CNN) - A dying girl in Kansas crosses off part of her bucket list, becoming the first in her family to be baptized.
Both Tia Shepherd and her sister Meriah suffer from a degenerative disease that doctors can't diagnose. Tia has spent most of her life deaf and unable to use most of her body, and last week, she received a dying wish, to be baptized.
Doctors say she's near the end, so Tia is crossing things off her bucket list. On Thursday, she received a yorkie she named Thor- one of her wishes.
Next on the list: Hopefully, meeting Taylor Swift so that she can show her the song she's writing.
