SEARCY, Ark. (AP) - Goodwill Industries of Arkansas plans to open a temporary store in Searcy after its original store was destroyed in a fire.
Goodwill says the new store will open Thursday at 2009 E. Race St. in Searcy.
The Searcy Fire Department says the investigation is ongoing into the cause of the fire that broke out early Friday at the original Goodwill store. Fire department spokesman Doug Baker tells The Daily Citizen that authorities believe the blaze began in the back of the store and then spread into the roof.
Goodwill says the building and its contents were destroyed in the fire. No one was injured in the blaze.
