LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 6, 2013) - If you're a fan of golf and education, why not combine both passions for a good cause this weekend?

Bethel A.M.E. Church is hosting their 2nd annual Education and Scholarship Golf Classic today, April 6. The event kicks off with a shot gun start at 8:30 a.m. at Country Club of Arkansas in Maumelle.

It's a 4 person scramble and costs $300 for a team or $75 per person. Registration is available on site.

THV's Melissa Dunbar-Gates will sit down with Suzanne Ornellis on 'THV 11 This Morning Saturday' to talk about the mission behind the event.

Last year's golf classic raised $2,500 with the majority of that money going to scholarships.
