MAYFLOWER, Ark. (KTHV) -- Flight restrictions have been lifted over the oil spill area, but now storms could interfere with the cleanup.
Patrick McGinn with Exxon Mobil says the cleanup efforts are continuing, and include contingency plans to deal with severe storm forecasts for tomorrow.
Those preparations include securing equipment and strengthening the containment system protecting the main body of Lake Conway.
McGinn says arrangements have been made to shelter the cleanup responders in the event severe weather threatens the area.
