LITTLE ROCK (4-19) - Bridge repair requires the temporary closure of the Scott Hamilton overpass on Interstate 30 in Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The bridge is temporarily closed as a crew makes repairs. Travel on Interstate 30 eastbound is narrowed to one lane beneath the overpass. Westbound traffic is not affected. Repairs are expected to be complete by the end of the day.
The Scott Hamilton bridge is approximately 50 years old and 260 feet in length. It carries about 9,500 vehicles per day.
